These Terms govern your use of the Kaching application and services. By using Kaching, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Kaching

Kaching is operated by Effito Ltd, United Kingdom.

Kaching uses artificial intelligence and marketplace data to identify items, estimate their resale value, recommend selling platforms, and help users create listings.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use Kaching.
If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian to use Kaching and purchase a subscription.
You must be at least 18 and meet the marketplace's requirements to connect a seller account or publish a listing.
You are responsible for activity through your account and for keeping it secure.
You must provide accurate information when using Kaching.

3. Subscriptions and scans

Scanning requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Prices, billing periods, scan allowances, and subscription benefits are shown before purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your app-store settings.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are handled under the applicable app store's policies and your legal rights.
Each subscription includes a monthly scan allowance.
Certain failed scans may be retried without reducing your allowance.

4. Acceptable use

You may use Kaching for personal or resale purposes. You must not:

Use Kaching for anything illegal or fraudulent.
Upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
Use bots, scripts, scrapers, or other automated tools.
Share accounts or create multiple accounts to bypass scan limits.
Extract, resell, or commercially redistribute Kaching's data or results.
Interfere with the service or attempt to bypass its security.
Reverse engineer Kaching except where permitted by law.

We may restrict or suspend accounts that breach these Terms.

5. AI valuations

Kaching's identifications, valuations, price estimates, and recommendations are provided for information only. They may be inaccurate or incomplete and are not professional appraisals, financial advice, or guaranteed sale prices.

Actual resale values may be higher or lower. You are responsible for decisions you make based on Kaching's results. Consider obtaining a professional appraisal for rare, specialist, or high-value items.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of photographs and other content you submit.

By submitting content, you give Effito Ltd a limited licence to store, process, and transmit it as necessary to provide Kaching's services. You confirm that you have the right to submit that content.

7. Marketplaces and listings

Third-party marketplaces have their own eligibility requirements, fees, policies, and terms. Kaching is not responsible for transactions conducted through them.

Kaching may generate suggested listing details and prices. You can review and edit supported fields before publishing. By publishing a listing, you confirm that you have reviewed and accepted its contents and price.

You are responsible for the listing, item, price, legal compliance, marketplace fees, postage, fulfilment, returns, refunds, and buyer disputes. Kaching does not guarantee that an item will sell or achieve the highest possible price and is not responsible if an item sells at a price you approved.

Disconnecting a marketplace account from Kaching does not delete that marketplace account or remove listings already published.

8. Intellectual property

Kaching and its software, design, branding, and original content belong to Effito Ltd or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from Kaching without permission.

9. Availability

We do not guarantee that Kaching will always be available or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service or any feature.

10. Deletion and termination

If you delete a scan or account, the deleted content cannot be recovered.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or misuse Kaching. Data associated with deletion or termination will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Effito Ltd is not responsible for losses caused by:

Inaccurate identifications, valuations, recommendations, or generated listings.
Decisions to buy, sell, or price an item.
Third-party marketplaces or transactions.
Interruptions or inability to use Kaching.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or affects your statutory consumer rights.

12. Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through Kaching, and the "Last updated" date will be revised.

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using Kaching.
